Manisa Celal Bayar University has reached some of the internationalization goals by using the Erasmus+ Program for the Higher Education student and staff mobility within program countries. Those goals were stated in the strategy of internationalization of MCBU. The project provided ample opportunities for improving all aspects of international cooperation at the MCBU. Fully aware that the quality of academic programs and student satisfaction correlate with personal mobility experience and participation in projects, the university management actively supports all initiatives from individual academic/administrative staff members, research teams, or student organizations. Participating in the project was an integral part of MCBU's strategy of internationalization which encourages student and staff mobility promotes transnational teaching activities, recognizes the significance of visibility of the results of these activities, and above all provides for non-discrimination practiced by ensuring that all participants are treated equally in a fair, transparent, coherent and documented way. An important objective of the project was to achieve the appropriate balance between incoming and outgoing mobilities to encourage student mobilities.
