Participation in Erasmus offers BEU the chance to send and receive students and staff, allowing them to live, learn, and work abroad, enhancing their individual, academic, and international competencies required in today’s global environment. Mobility students benefit by acquiring new competencies, improving their language skills, and having the chance to reflect on their respective disciplines from an international vantage point. Commuting with students and staff at the hosting partners broadens perspectives and minds. The students will gain valuable skills to succeed in future careers, improving their employability. Simultaneously, BEU can include its researchers and staff in European and international projects and research, providing additional funding opportunities through Erasmus, and bringing academicians from different countries together to jointly develop and engage in international research and projects. Mobility staff benefit from engaging with their colleagues from the host and learning about new and innovative teaching methods, studying, and collaborating. By implementing the project, BEU aimed to internationalize its members.
