The main goal of the project is to strengthen the link between education offered at HEIs in the Mediterranean region and business life to foster employability of young people by enabling students to engage in training abroad and experience new working environments in the international arena, facilitating personal development of staff employed at the HEIs and preparing students better for the business world abroad. Furthermore, the project aims to enhance cooperation between higher education institutions and enterprises through inviting staff from enterprises for teaching mobility by which non-mobile students can also have a chance to nurture their language skills, professional and academic knowledge as well as critical thinking and social inclusion. The project aims to create opportunities for young individuals of the region to enhance their personal, academic and professional skills and competences. Based on the objectives of the project, less mobile departments and the developing universities’ needs became the spotlight for exchange activities to contribute to the internationalization of the HEIs, to actively engage students and staff of diverse cultural, social and economic background in internship and training activities.
