Every day we pollute our world and make it less livable. After the industrial revolution, our planet became more polluted with the increase in population growth and the increase in mass production and consumption. Humanity has lived in harmony with nature throughout history; on the other hand, he struggled with nature. In this struggle, every invention and discovery made by mankind has enabled us to use more of our planet's resources. However, in the 21st century, accelerating technological and industrial developments, increasing population, and urbanisation; It has brought human beings to a more modern and comfortable position. The needs of human beings, who started living in cities rather than rural areas and reached an easier life, have increased and their consumption habits have changed. This change and transformation have caused human beings to consume more natural resources and generate more waste as a result of this consumption. The natural resources of our world are limited. However, as human beings, we consume as if we have a world with unlimited resources and we produce waste with every product we consume. It does not seem possible for us to reach a sustainable and livable future with our current consumption habits. Sustainability; It is regarded as keeping the damage we give to nature and the environment to a minimum in order to sustain our existence economically, socially, and environmentally. A balance should be established between nature and human activities for a sustainable future; Climate, environment, natural resources, and human activities should be analyzed well and societies should be made conscious accordingly. Raising awareness in society also starts with raising awareness of individuals. Since waste management covers many daily processes such as business life, eating and drinking habits, and transportation, it is possible to reach a more sustainable future with the small changes that individuals will make in their lives and habits. We believe that a clean, sustainable and livable future is the right of all young people and it is these young people who will build this future. With our "Sustainable Green Future" project, we aimed to raise awareness among young people about the problems our planet faces, what the concept of sustainability is and what can be done on an individual basis for a sustainable planet. With this project, we aimed all young people, especially the participants: - to become aware of environmental pollution and sustainability, - to acquire sustainable skills and habits such as using their products, recycling their waste, avoiding excessive consumption, and not using disposable plastic, - to understand the importance of their contribution to the future of our planet with the small changes they will make in their daily lives, - to learn about the global climate crisis and environmental problems, - to be more sensitive to the environment, animals, and nature, - to meet new cultures, - to develop their foreign language skills, - to gain experience in the field of Erasmus + youth projects.
