Background

During the pandemic, people in the educational world were affected both physically and psychologically, because of curfews, school closures, and online education practices. As educators, we had concerns about our students as they were at a critical age and too young to tackle such a big and unexpected problem that arose all over the world. Meanwhile, educators were trying to cope with burnout syndrome which increased during the pandemic, they tried to put the traditional methods aside and keep up with that new technology to adapt the online education system. We found out we were facing the same basic problems like anxiety, indifference to classes which affected their academic achievement, physical activity inadequacy, increased body weight, and behavioral addiction among our students spending a lot of time in front of the screen due to the transition to online education, curfews and lack of social facilities. These project teams came together to take action to overcome these difficulties, minimize such kind of negative effects, decrease the physical and mental effects of the pandemic on teenagers and educators with sport, music and mindfulness-based activities and find rational and long-lasting solutions to these problems.
