Objectives

An innovative financial literacy education program that supports entrepreneurship and digital literacy was created using the learning model. This program was implemented with pilot training for adults, enabling it to be used in formal and non-formal education institutions. Significant steps have been taken in Turkey and partner countries to increase adults' opportunities to access the labor market and promote employment, ensuring that citizens are financially conscious and responsible. Thus, the aim of increasing social welfare was also served.

Background

With the rapid development of technology, an environment that provides easier access to financial services has been created. This situation has increased the importance of financial literacy. Digital developments have enabled the emergence of new financial products and services for businesses and individuals. However, financial and digital information is needed to effectively benefit from these new products and services. Increasing financial and digital literacy has encouraged individuals' participation in business life and contributed to increasing financial well-being. To increase financial and digital literacy and entrepreneurial knowledge, a special training program for adults should be implemented. With the project, an innovative financial literacy training program enriched with digital literacy and entrepreneurship information was developed. The written training program will be shared with institutions such as universities, distance / continuous education centers, public education centers, general directorate of lifelong learning and will contribute to increasing financial literacy and reducing unemployment both in our country and partner countries.
