The increasing climate crisis and the volume of carbon emissions are the priority issues of the European Union. Imposing a carbon tax on corporations in 2030 is among the policies of the European Union. The main aim of all these policies is to provide a sustainable Green Europe/World environment. Digital waste also causes carbon emissions, electricity consumption, water consumption and therefore the climate crisis. Unnecessary internet use and waste of digital data are among the factors that harm the future of the world. We applied for the digital waste awareness project to raise awareness of these issues. Within the scope of the project, we produced awareness videos and studied needs analyses in 4 different countries. We conducted scientific research on digital waste. We produced mobile applications and Windows programs that show the relationship between digital waste and carbon emissions. We carried out promotional activities in universities and high schools. We raised awareness about digital waste. Our outputs (Turkish, English, Arabic, Romanian, Portuguese and French): Digital Waste (DW) Mobil applications (android & IOS) Digital Waste (DW) Windows program Digital Waste (DW) documentaries Digital Waste (DW) books
