In alignment with the additional priority HORIZONTAL, our project placed a significant emphasis on green awareness, weaving environmental sustainability and climate change mitigation into its fabric. Students were actively engaged in learning about recycling methods and incorporating eco-friendly products and materials into their projects, thereby promoting eco-conscious practices in their showcases. Regarding the link with the additional priority VET, our focus was on enhancing the attractiveness of vocational education and training. We adopted a cross-sectoral approach, encouraging collaboration with VET departments typically outside our scope. This strategic move allowed students to develop valuable international cooperative competencies while also deepening their local awareness through hands-on exploration of eco-friendly practices and recycling initiatives. By fostering collaboration among students from Spoleto (Italy), Porto (Portugal), and Hasselt (Belgium), our project succeeded in amplifying international inspiration and enriching the overall learning experience.
In our project, our objective was to foster creativity within VET by inspiring students to think innovatively and draw inspiration from diverse cultural perspectives. Through collaborative efforts across various departments and fields, students were encouraged to step out of their comfort zones and develop open-mindedness and out-of-the-box thinking skills. This student-led initiative, with guidance from teachers, provided a platform for hands-on learning and real-world application of skills. Our project also prioritized fostering innovation in VET through green awareness and sustainability. Students learned about recycling, eco-friendly materials, and sustainable practices, contributing to a more environmentally conscious approach in their showcases. By engaging with VETdepartments that they wouldn't typically interact with, students gained valuable insights into different industries and developed international cooperative competencies. The project's multinational dimension, involving students from Italy, Portugal, and Belgium, provided a rich source of international inspiration.Through the organization of three events/showcases, students also honed their marketing competencies, preparing them for future entrepreneurial endeavors
