Over the past century, the threat of nature and environmental extinction has emerged as one of the most significant global challenges. The uncontrolled growth of the population and the advancement of industrialization have led to the depletion of natural resources and the disruption of ecological equilibrium, causing a visible decline in the availability and sustainability of these vital elements. Today, we instantly feel the destructive outcomes of environmental problems. It is a fact that the most significant source of these problems is human activities and urbanization. We wanted to minimize that source under the Erasmus+ programme before it is too late. Nonetheless, saving the environment is crucial for the survival of humanity. We wanted to tackle this matter by promoting greater environmental awareness and ethics. We wanted to foster a desire for a cleaner world with minimal waste, and cultivating conscious individuals. Considering the needs of partner organizations and countries and the problems that Europe has in this regard, we have determined the following objectives: -to highlight concepts such as afforestation, soil protection, the importance of water resources -to create environmental awareness among young people -to raise awareness on biological diversity, recycling, and advocacy against the destruction of natural assets -to contribute to the solution of environmental problems by enabling young people to participate in decision-making processes and to ensure a sustainable development Besides these subject-based objectives, we also aimed to develop the participants life-long skills. We aimed to meet the young people with the European citizenship and common European culture. We wanted to equip them with Youthpass certificate as well as informing them about the opportunities in the Erasmus+ programme.
