Objectives

The main objective of the project was to provide Bulgarian architects with an environment for profiled professional training in the pursuit of their profession in Germany. For this purpose, an alliance of partners with diverse experience, profiles and specific expertise was created. The specific objectives of the project were: enhancing the professional training opportunities of architects by generating a unique curriculum and content; increasing the attractiveness of the professional training of architects by conducting a one-of-a-kind training course (twice, according to the project).

Background

The project aimed to meet the need for knowledge transfer in relation to the working conditions of Bulgarian architects in Germany. Through the creation of an alliance of partners, a special curriculum based on two specialized training courses was drawn up. With the participation of many architects-designers in Bulgaria and architecture students, a precedent was set for advanced training in connection with the adaptation of Bulgarian professionals to the foreign market for architectural services. The aim of the project was to offer continuing professional training to architects to complement their competences and to better realise the European markets for architectural services resulting from Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 7 September 2005 on the recognition of professional qualifications.
