Through the work on the project, the aim was to pay attention to the preservation of cultural heritage with the power of modern technologies and to find a new way to combine past and future. The project involved 2 extremely large groups namely students and adults each one of these groups can contribute to the development of the other. Students raise their awareness of their cultural roots apply modern technologies for educational purposes and communicate with adults. Through the wide variety of technologies, we were able to create a large amount of digital materials through which to spread the concept of sustainability of cultural heritage through the use of digital technologies. The relationship between the partner organizations achieved intercultural integrity in terms of the participation in the consortium of a VET school, a natural mathematical high school and a non-governmental organization. A network between partners with common interests of two nationalities was achieved through the project which was a priority in their institutional development not only education but also culture.
The participation of the NHSFB in this project aimed to encourage students to be more interested in cultural heritage by combining what is studied in economics with the creation of a new business within the framework of the preservation of the national cultural heritage. Our building school is an architectural monument which also implies the long-standing traditions of the management in terms of preservation of cultural material and intangible heritage over the years. The 21st century is a century of technology and we are forgetting our traditions. Through this project we managed within these 20 months to raise the awareness of students regarding various various crafts and activities from the near and not so distant past through which people have created and built the Bulgarian national culture and self-awareness. Modern young people are not so interested in the dying crafts and traditions as this was the purpose of the project to raise their awareness and engage their attention in order to preserve cultural heritage. Another key link was that between the young and the elderly. Through this project, a connection between the different generations was made both in Bulgaria and in Italy.
