All activities of the project "Sustainable Youth Integration", No. 2021-2-BG01-KA210-YOU-000051128, were aimed at encouraging young people to be more active participants in the labor market. The MAIN OBJECTIVE of the project was: Creating a partnership between Association "Youth Institute for Development" (BG) and Asociatia "Zold Nap" (RO) to identify, transfer and implement innovative practices in the field of youth employment by building a virtual youth career center with access to an innovative web-based career guidance platform with adapted artificial intelligence to facilitate finding suitable job positions according to the individual requirements of young people. The SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES of the project were: • Implementation of partnership cooperation in terms of exchange of experience, good practices and models for ensuring sustainable youth employment; • Building partnerships with a focus on the field of employment in the two participating countries and to identify and implement priorities and actions, to find solutions to common problems; • Increasing public awareness, through dissemination and transfer of the innovative results, a consequence of the applied practice.
The project "Sustainable youth integration" is implemented in the period 01.03.2022 - 31.08.2023 in partnership of the association "Youth Institute for Development" (Bulgaria) and Asociatia "Zold Nap" (Romania). Our main motivation for work was the need to assist young people from the area of Vidin (BG) and Targu Secuiesc (RO) to find the most suitable workplace for them. From our previous work with the youth of these two communities, we have become convinced that they tend to view their professional future with skepticism. The lack of necessary knowledge about the functional processes of the labor market and their negative experience related to refusal of employment, problems with the working environment and unprofitable pay, have a negative impact on the emotional state of young people and reduce their motivation for career development. Through the implementation of the project, we created a system of measures for assisting in optimizing the conditions for the inclusion of young people in the labor market, while we have also encouraged their confidence in having the necessary qualities to develop as knowledgeable and capable individuals, able to cope with the challenges of dynamically changing labor market conditions.
