Objectives

ECO-SCORE had defined four (4) specific objectives (SO) in an aim to ensure a high and long-lasting impact on the selected horizontal and vertical priorities. -SO1: Actively engage school youth (age 10-12) and other stakeholders in understanding the challenges of building a green and sustainable economy and contributing with sustainability generating activities. -SO2: Identify, design, and implement a set of interactive/engaging learning objects to achieve smooth green skills' acquisition. -SO3: Demonstrate the ECO-SCORE results in real schools in all partner countries with relevant and diverse case studies involving all stakeholders. -SO4: Ensure the viability, sustainability, replicability, scalability and applicability of ECO-SCORE results.

Background

ECO-SCORE aimed at preparing schools to become eco-aware, while making children ecology resilient. The future cannot be 100% foreseen, therefore the new generations need to be resilient and present adaptability to all possible outcomes. International/EU/National policies related to climate change are hardly credible if the change and the appropriate attitude are not initiated at the very base of society, our children, and thus our future, hopefully ecology-aware, citizens. ECO-SCORE addressed the Erasmus+ Programme policy priorities by focusing on various topics, such as energy and resources, environmental and climate change, green skills and more. The addressed priorities include: -HORIZONTAL: Environment and fight against climate change -HORIZONTAL: Common values, civic engagement and participation -SCHOOL EDUCATION : Development of key competences
