The following were the goals of this proposal: - to fill up the professional knowledge gaps and outline the current best practises for autism intervention. - to provide training sessions that will teach ASD experts how to use evidence-based methods in their work. - to establish a network of ASD specialists across Europe who might share best practises. - to encourage the ASD professionals' professional growth.
With this project, we wanted to address this lack of professional competencies by connecting various professionals and experts in the field of autism and creating opportunities for the exchange of best practices and experiences in the field, resulting in the professional development of all professionals (participating either directly or indirectly). Numerous evidence-based solutions for the treatment, instruction, and support of people with autism in educational and community-based settings have been developed through many years of study. There are also many new practises that have been identified as the study literature has continued to grow. Therefore, with our initiative, we want to provide a series of trainings that will equip participants with the necessary abilities, based on the finest and most effective practises that research has shown to be essential for meeting the needs of people with autism.
