LAMBIDA project was centered around youth entrepreneurship, aiming to provide innovative solutions for economic and educational growth among young people. The concept of social entrepreneurship emerged as a promising formula for success, particularly in the digital environment. It seamlessly blended youth employment, social impact, and opportunities for self-realization. These self-funding, for-profit businesses were driven by a mission to address global challenges such as unemployment, education improvement, and the promotion of environmentally friendly techniques. The planned project specifically addressed a critical need identified among youth workers engaged in activities with vulnerable youth at risk of unemployment. There was a recognized demand for new digital youth work methods and a social entrepreneurship methodology that could be applied online on a global scale, especially during crisis times. The project aimed to create a safe space for target groups to share experiences and express their potential. The ongoing global pandemic underscored the essential role of digital methods in youth work, revealing that these tools were not merely a temporary solution but rather a vital necessity for the entire civic sector. In response to this need, our project aimed to equip youth workers with practical methods that could be implemented effectively in addressing youth unemployment, leveraging easy and creative online tools. The utilization of online youth entrepreneurship strategies was widespread in many countries. However, it was observed that these strategies often did not form part of the curriculum for youth workers in the EECA region. Hence, the participation of countries from this region and the exchange of best practices between Program and Partner countries were crucial aspects of the project. The project sought to bridge this gap by offering a platform for knowledge exchange and mutual learning, fostering a collaborative approach to addressing youth unemployment challenges. The main project activities – Training course in Cyprus (A1) and Training Course in Georgia(A2) were logically connected and had complex program to ensure high quality professional development for youth workers, NGO staff on digital youth entrepreneurship. We clearly see how such design of project activities in combination of trainings (activity A1 and A2) and practical activities (local actions between A1 and A2 and follow up activities after A2) worked as an capacity building opportunity for representatives of partner NGOs and partner organizations itself. The specific objectives of LAMBIDA project were as follows: - To equip youth workers with knowledge and skills as for digital youth entrepreneurship and its main concepts and methods - To equip youth workers with digital skills to promote social entrepreneurship for vulnerable youth in their respective local communities - To create a platform of self-exploration and self-reflection to better understand the needs of vulnerable youth - To create a platform for intercultural communication and inclusive dialogue between the youth of EU and Partner countries - To develop LAMBIDA methodology network together with follow-up projects taking into account the skills and knowledge gained during the project to enhance collaboration between partners By providing youth workers with tools to promote youth entrepreneurship, especially among vulnerable youth during crisis times like a pandemic, the LAMBIDA project played a significant role in fostering youth activation, social inclusion, emphasizing the importance of youth work, and contributing to the personal development of youth workers. The project's focus on promoting self-employment and active participation underscored its commitment to empowering young people. The LAMBIDA project was instrumental in advancing the understanding and practice of youth work, aligning with the changing needs and challenges faced by young individuals, particularly during crises. By targeting organizations from both Program Countries and the Eastern Partnership, the project effectively facilitated international cooperation, creating a platform for the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and best practices. Through its initiatives, the LAMBIDA project not only responded to the immediate needs of vulnerable youth but also laid the groundwork for long-term impact, emphasizing the crucial role of youth workers in shaping the future and promoting sustainable solutions for youth empowerment.
