As youth workers and trainers we realized, during other projects and our NGOs activities, that it is very difficult for some of us to keep the teams of young people united, to make the created teams perform their tasks better, to manage the conflicts & to facilitate better communication inside the team and also to make young people feel like they enjoy their time together. Having these aspects in our minds, we started our project EU teams for EU Dreams in order to fulfil these needs. Here are the project objectives that we managed to achive with the help of this project: 1.During the 8 months of the project the 25 youth workers will better understand the different stages of forming a team, conflict management and communication within a team of young people. The participants became familiar with theoretical aspects regarding stages of forming a team. The approach within this project was one in which the participants experienced different methods of teambuilding in order to be able to apply them with the teams they work with in their communities. 2. By the end of this project the 25 youth workers will be able to properly implement non-formal team & trust building methods; to create their own methods; to manage group conflicts/dynamics; to facilitate communication, delegate tasks and boost motivation within a team. Aspects such as group dynamics and coordination, communication and identification of the best solutions were taken into account throughout the project. The participants constantly worked in teams, learned to coordinate better groups, to communicate effectively in order to identify the best solutions in difficult contexts. 3. By the end of the 8 months the 25 participants will develop a more proactive attitude towards implementing non-formal team building methods, will be more confident in their ability to work with. Each participant had the chance to chose and implement NFE methods. Starting from the theoretical to the practical, the participants learned the right trajectory to successfully work with healty teams. They continued to implement methods in the community and sends us information about their good results.
