1. Becoming a learning organization that can respond flexibly to change and a rapidly evolving hostile political context. 2. develop participatory and reflective leadership 3. Improve the skills of advisors to empower adults with limited opportunities. 4. Improve training and facilitation skills to work with highly diverse groups.
The organization quickly grew from a volunteer-based organization to a fully professional association. To be able to respond to the ever-changing needs of a diverse range of service users (young LGBT+ people, social workers or staff) and to become a learning organisation, a specific kind of management was needed. All members of the staff and management of Prague Pride and active volunteers needed to develop better practices for knowledge sharing, reflection, learning and innovation to prepare us for a rapidly changing society and political situation, to facilitate better internal communication and strategic planning for the organisation. As part of our priorities and efforts to create an inclusive society that is open to LGBT+ people, Prague Pride is developing training programmes for adult staff, educators, adult LGBT+ youth, social workers, which are an increasingly dominant part of our work and need to be included in the organisations strategy.
