Background

We responded on partners´ findings, that employees in social care are afraid of digital transformation which is entering all economic sectors, including social services. The most relevant for social services have been defined: digital communication tools, digital technologies´ operations, interaction with digital devices and smart applications. The addressed need was to strengthen digital competencies of employees in social services. To overcome the barriers of using modern digital tools and to prepare them for the upcoming digital requirements and prevent them leaving this economic sector. The tool for enhancement of digital competences was developed as a useful tool for all non-IT professions and brought practical examples and guides on using the widely available technologies in particular situations and also introduction of more specific smart applications and devices.
