Work on the project is aimed at students who want to improve their language and general communication skills, who want to learn about other cultures, improve their awareness of the diversity of the world, improve their presentation skills, the ability to think critically, and create. We want to involve pupils to actively work with a mobile device with applications that help in the learning process and in getting to know the world.
We signed up to the Mobile applications help project to support the development of digital skills and knowledge of our pupils and, through them, also teachers. We live in the age of digitization and it is becoming increasingly clear that the use of digital technologies will have a major impact on the learning and education process of pupils. The aim of the project was to get students to start using mobile phones and the applications available to them in a progressive and conscious way, in order to break the barrier between the passive use of the mobile phone as a communication tool and the active use of mobile tool systems that can contribute to support learning to manage various types of mobile applications for further personal development and education. At the same time, our effort was to support the development of language skills and knowledge, to support tolerance of cultural differences, to gain awareness of life in other countries and cultures, to find friends among young people from other parts of the world.
