With this project, we wanted to develop suitable answers to the challenge of the (post-)pandemic time to our social organisation. Due to the profound and very rapid changes for the learners and teachers as well as for the teaching and training processes, we aimed to develop our offers with this Erasmus+ project to a greater quality. This involved continuing to adapt and develop our variety of methods and new approaches from the pandemic period through our pedagogical content. This includes digital learning, learning in new learning spaces or health pedagogy. Within Europe, social agencies had to react and find answers to the pandemic - we wanted to learn and exchange our findings with other European pedagogical professionals for new methods, tools, didactics, instruments or learning approaches. This should benefit the quality of teaching and the organisation, but also the pedagogical staff to develop themselves and the institution, and to further anchor European exchange in a sustainable way. As core aspects, we identified three goals: Digitalisation (development of methods, technics, contents), Enlargement of pedagogical methods (methodical/didactical portfolio) and Increasing of and Learning through Networks within Europe.
Q-PRINTS&SERVICE gGMBH (QPS) is a non-profit qualification and employment provider. With about 80 employees and working since 2001, QPS supports disadvantaged and deprived people aged 18 and above in vocational education, qualification and training and/or in the transition from school to professionalization from the Pforzheim region. QPS supports unemployed people in different life situations in specialist areas such as Easy Access, Learning and Training, Women and Family Matters, and European Mobility with self-owned businesses in gastronomy, gardening, bicycle mechanics and printing, among others. Entry into the labour market takes place through a variety of approaches: internships, jobs, training, seminars, language courses and coaching to improve individual access. The project supported the socio-educational professional staff to sustain their pedagogical support while working with the respective target group on their way into the first labour market, and to expand their methodological competence.
