The implementation of the project was intended to achieve the above-mentioned goals. In contrast to classical teaching according to the curriculum in the respective country, the theoretical and practical work in all four partner schools (or university) focused on the themes of documenta 15 during the first six months of the project. Already during this time and especially during the 10-day meeting in Kassel, there was continuous transnational cooperation. In this way, all the intended goals regarding the expansion of soft skills could be achieved.
The following needs of students and teachers were addressed: - Getting to know oneself as a European and as a global citizen - to become aware of democratic-constructive possibilities of action in transnational contexts - Expanding knowledge of current global crises - Expanding verbal & visual communication skills - Expansion of discourse skills in transnational professional contexts - Expanding emotional and organisational soft skills - Practising transferable problem-solving techniques - Experiencing self-efficacy in creative processes - Expanding knowledge of current positions in contemporary art - Practising how to deal with contemporary culture - Expanding knowledge of curating and staging a transnational exhibition - Experiencing creativity as a survival resource The transnational work on the content and within the world art exhibition documenta 15 was the ideal context to cover these needs.
