Objectives

The primary aim of implementing the project was to address the living and working conditions of young people with disabilities, particularly in partner countries where they face discrimination and social exclusion. The project sought to initiate a positive change by breaking down barriers, improving living conditions, and challenging stereotypes and prejudices surrounding disabilities. The specific objectives of the project were as follows: To increase participants' knowledge on various issues related to living with disabilities. To facilitate the sharing of practices and experiences concerning the involvement of young people with disabilities in youth activities across participant countries. To develop participants' media competencies, including video and photography making, and conducting interviews. To create a series of media products aimed at raising awareness about the daily challenges faced by people with disabilities. To contribute to fostering a more inclusive and equal society by raising awareness among young people. To enhance participants' understanding of the Erasmus+ Programme, particularly focusing on the possibility of volunteering with the European Solidarity Corps (ESC). To promote cooperation among participants and provide a platform for the development of new ideas aimed at furthering inclusivity and equality. By achieving these objectives, the project aimed to empower young people with disabilities to take action, foster understanding and empathy among all participants, and ultimately contribute to building a more inclusive and supportive society.
