Art is basically defined as a creative expression of feelings and thoughts, a reflection of cultural heritage. In this context, there is a direct link between art and society. Art has social functions such as educating, raising awareness, making people think, integrating, determining human and environmental realities. The interaction of young people with art has supported them in various aspects such as taking initiative, being creative and entrepreneurial, and has enabled young people, who are the cornerstones of society, to contribute to social development. Within the scope of the "National Longitudinal Study on Adolescent Health" conducted in 2013, it was observed that the personal development of young people is directly related to the arts. It was noted that individuals who participate in artistic activities have a 20% decrease in school dropout rates, a significant decrease in crime rates and a greater willingness to continue their education. In addition, society needs young people from creative communities who can cope with change, adapt to changing situations, take responsibility, take advantage of opportunities in various creative fields and find solutions to existing problems. The arts have played a key role in accessing all these. Young people who are engaged in the arts are better able to express themselves. Creating something meaningful supported young people's self-confidence. Young people who felt excluded from society were able to build positive relationships through the arts, which contributed to their social inclusion. Art gave young people the opportunity to reach their potential and strengthened their sense of social co-operation. The "European Art Days" project has emerged with the aim of supporting young people who are trying to cope with social inclusion problems to reveal their creative sides through cultural and artistic activities, to support their entrepreneurial spirit, to encourage cooperation between young people from different regions of Europe, to help them break their prejudices against other cultures by strengthening intercultural dialogue, to help them express themselves better, to express social problems in the regions where they live through art and to support them in finding solutions to them. Project objectives: -A total of 44 young people from France, Turkey, Poland and Germany were directly involved in our project.
