The project "It comes with a thrown bottle" aimed to make a big difference in how people see and care for the environment. We wanted to show participants how they can play a part in making their communities cleaner and healthier, all while having fun and being creative. One exciting part of our project was the Eco-marathon, a campaign where participants got to share their ideas and experiences about living eco-friendly lives. To achieve our main goal, we set out objectives. These objectives were stepping stones, helping us reach our bigger goal in smaller, manageable steps: - Firstly, we wanted to make sure everyone understood why it's important to look after the environment. We talked about how things like pollution and waste can harm nature and even affect our health. Then, we shared practical tips on how participants could make positive changes right where they lived. - Another important objective was to introduce participants to the idea of living a Zero-waste lifestyle. This means trying to produce as little waste as possible. We also talked about the 5R Rule: Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Rot. These are simple guidelines to help people use resources wisely and reduce their impact on the environment. - We also wanted to inspire participants to get creative with how they use things. Instead of throwing items away after using them once, we encouraged them to think about how they could reuse things in new and interesting ways. This not only helps the environment but also saves money. - The Eco-marathon was a big focus of our project. We wanted participants to organize and run their own campaign to spread the word about eco-friendly living. By sharing their own experiences and ideas online, participants could inspire others to make positive changes too. - Lastly, we wanted to create a space for participants to talk openly about the environmental issues facing their countries. By sharing their thoughts and ideas, they could learn from each other and come up with solutions to help make their communities greener and healthier. Through these objectives, we have empowered the participants to become champions for the environment in their own communities, spreading awareness and inspiring positive change wherever they go.
