Objectives

Together with our partners from Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, and Poland during three online meetings held via Zoom application, we drew the following conclusions: * the constantly changing world opens a network of contacts and cares about the anonymity of its users, we often experience hate speech. Hate and trolling are concepts that are currently popular forms of psychological violence. Hating ( hating everything and all), and trolling (making fun of and insulting others) are only the selected concepts that are at present popular forms of psychological violence. They mainly refer to verbal aggression and criticism and the broadly understood negation taking place in relation to other people and their actions (in particular, this term refers to negative, offensive comments in the Internet space sent to participants forums, blogs, and websites), but the manner and scope of hate action - a term used for hateful, offensive comments, messages, content - it takes various forms and is much more complex. *The technological development, and an increase in anonymity, opens the way to networking, in no time, knowledge and dissemination of any content and messages, as a consequence, thanks to its almost unlimited access, and difficulties with identifying users, and their activates, enables many more forms of violence and ways of bullying others people *We realized that hate is related to low self-esteem, willingness to be appreciated and noticed by others, but sometimes it also appears because of bad humor or in a discussion on a controversial topic that emotionally excites us and we lack arguments. We can also say that we hate because we need entertainment, and accosting and provoking someone gives personal satisfaction Hate speech hits especially young people. From everywhere you hear about the tragedies to which it contributed. It happens, those young people even take their own lives under the influence of chewing on internet portals. Such harassment often takes its toll on the psyche. But hate speech affects not only the psyche of the individual. On this basis we shaped the following main objective of the Against Hate! project that is to carry out tasks aimed at counteracting hate and trolling on the Internet by equipping youth workers with proper tools and knowledge that enable them to make young people ( aged 18-30 high school students, university students) aware of the dangerous consequences resulting from these phenomena, such as psychological wounds, alienation from society, and often suicide attempts. Via implementation of this project, we would like to address the genuine demands and highlight EU values, and priorities of the Erasmus+ program, and produce the skills and methods for youth workers and volunteers of partner organizations for their professional development. Furthermore, this process includes digital work with young people, which is necessary to transfer the shared core values of society to hard-to-reach groups of youth. Moreover, we also wanted to deter radicalization among young people.
