By implementing this project we aimed at developing and improving the conflict management competences with special focus on emotional intelligence and communication of youth workers. Our primary goal was to empower youth workers with the necessary tools to prepare, run, and evaluate high-quality youth work activities targeting young people with diverse cultural backgrounds, including refugees, migrants, minorities, and the Roma community. Recognizing the multicultural nature of contemporary societies and the need for inclusive practices our project's objectives were: - Reflecting on necessary competences of youth workers in the areas of emotional intelligence, conflict management and communication; - Experiencing methods and techniques to increase competences in the areas of emotional intelligence, conflict management and communication; - Supporting participants in mastering experienced techniques and methods and transferring these methods and techniques to their work with young people, including young people with fewer opportunities; - Promoting the exchange of good practices in the area of professional development of youth workers; - Providing space to work on development of new ideas addressing the need of professional development of youth work with support of the Erasmus + Programme. By achieving these objectives, our project sought to contribute to the broader goal of preventing radicalism among marginalized young people and promoting a more inclusive and harmonious society.
