Our project idea is concerning the political participation of young migrants. Political participation is an essential element of a functioning democracy. The modes of political participation are still evolving and taking new forms in our age. It is now beyond just voting in the elections or being a member of a political party. The participation mechanisms are today more diverse. There are many other possibilities for individuals to express their views. It is highly essential to create mechanisms to include all individuals in the political representation mechanisms and to encourage all individuals to participate more in order to create more harmonious societies. It is possible to observe that the migrants are mostly hesitant to participate political processes of the host county. Third-country nationals or namely migrants are asked to adopt themselves according to the conditions of the host country. They are supported to participate labor market of the country. They are required to socially participate in the life of society. However, it seems more difficult to find support for them to politically participate in their host societies. Political participation is a way to express ideas to create better ways of living in society. Concerns and demands of individuals are reflected via political participation. Non-citizen members of society could be in a relatively disadvantaged position in reflecting their demands and areas of concern. Since a healthy society is consisting of individuals who could express their ideas and have the possibility to change the dysfunctionalities of society, focusing on non-citizen members of society would help us to extend our vision. Starting from this background we created our project and started our work. The project aimed to support young individuals during the process of actively participating in social and political processes of society. We created a slogan for each activity day of the project. We organized project activities according to the previously determined schedule of the project. Project participants joined various activities on the project days. We divided project days into four parts to facilitate the participation of participants. We organized project activities usually on the Weekend. We aimed to increase the participation possibilities of participants. We organized the activity days in Wiesbaden. Additionally, we visited one institution in Frankfurt. Project participants were coming from various cities in Germany.
