The main objective of the project was to bring young people together to facilitate meaningful discussion and improve their mental health while using social media in a productive way. The project aimed to address issues such as the damaging effects of social media, addiction to smart devices, lack of awareness, and disconnection from reality. The project set out to achieve its main objective by creating a safe space where young people could exchange ideas, share their experiences, and develop skills to make productive use of social media. In addition to the main objective, the project also had several sub-objectives aimed at improving the quality of the project and reaching the main objective. These sub-objectives included helping young people acquire skills to improve their social media use, increasing their knowledge on important social issues, creating connections and friendships, establishing solidarity, breaking stereotypes, developing leadership and entrepreneurial skills, and bringing together people with diverse backgrounds to have more diverse ideas and opinions in group work. Overall, the project was designed to raise awareness of the issues and needs associated with social media use, and to take active measures to alleviate them. The project was carried out in partnership with other organizations, and aimed to have a positive impact on the participants as well as the wider community. In addition to the previously mentioned objectives of the project, the following objectives have been identified: 1. Inclusion and diversity: The project aims to involve young people with fewer opportunities, including those with economic difficulties, health problems, and lower education levels. These participants will be given priority during the selection process, and the project will cooperate with other organizations and use social media to reach these young people. 2. Enhancing digital skills and competence: Throughout the different stages of the project, participants will have the opportunity to enhance their digital skills and competencies. This includes using online methods for communication and cooperation, online learning platforms, and experimenting with video and image editing tools. 3. Environment and fight against climate change: Environmentally sustainable practices will be included in the design and implementation of the project, and one of the social issues that will be covered during the project will be related to the protection of the environment and the disinformation that is spread through social media. In addition, the project aligns with the objectives of Youth Exchanges, which are: 1. Engage and empower young people to become active citizens: The project encourages active citizenship and serves as an example to other young people. 2. Raise awareness about socially relevant topics and stimulate engagement in society: Participants are asked to seek out social topics that are relevant to them and will have many chances to share what they find essential and explain it to others. 3. Develop skills and attitudes in young people: Participants will develop skills and attitudes in the areas of five key competencies, including sense of initiative and entrepreneurship, social and civic competence, learning to learn, digital competence, and communication in a foreign language.
