Objectives

The main aim of this project was to provide youth workers with an effective tool for soft and correct involvement of youth with special needs in the general group - how to organize youth exchanges within the Erasmus + program, taking into account all the risks, preparing a barrier-free environment, having at hand a list of working and proven methods for this type of grou. The objectives of the course were: -to introduce the participants with the possibility of the Erasmus + program to organize and conduct youth exchanges, -to give the participants tools how to make such projects inclusive and how to involve youth with special needs in them; -to familiarize them with the principles and methods of working with a split-level group; - to introduce participants to principles, specialties and methods of non-formal education and to encourage the implementation of those skills in the future events; - to offer the space for learning of characteristic aspects and the specialties of the work with inclusive groups, and to break the communication barriers between people with and without disabilities. The main goals were: - to increase the knowledge of participants and encourage the development of the international youth project management skills for work with split-level groups, that will be implemented by participants after the training course; - to encourage creation of future mutual youth exchanges under the Erasmus+ program by people with and without disabilities. The international dimension in youth work allows the horizons to be expanded even further. Youth workers learn the most when they are part of something and experience it itself –thing often remain just theory unless they are experienced.
