Objectives

We aimed to develop an educational tool that was adapted to the needs of adults, enabling them to acquire digital skills and competencies essential for improving the digital presence of SMEs and adapting to labor market transitions. Our goal was to strengthen vulnerable groups, helping them acquire the digital skills required to enhance their competitiveness in the job market. We also aimed to facilitate initial digital education, focusing on areas like digital company presence, digital marketing, and consumer' rights.

Background

We applied for this project to address the urgent needs resulting from pandemic-induced labor market shifts. Our primary aim was to develop an educational tool tailored for professionals to acquire vital digital skills, particularly assisting vulnerable groups with low digital proficiency in becoming more competitive. Our approach covered various business aspects, including e-commerce website development, digital marketing, and consumer rights. Our objectives included: -Creating a digital toolkit and training modules to empower adults professionally. -Enhancing digital literacy. -Aligning skills with job market demands. -Promoting consumer rights awareness. We believed digital transformation could revitalize Europe's development by increasing capacity, inclusivity, efficiency, and innovation. We also aimed to enhance residents' lives by enabling online work, learning, and access to services. COVID-19 showcased the importance of digital tools, allowing remote work and access to information and services via the Internet and e-commerce.
