The COVID-19 pandemic had a significant impact on youth employment especially in rural areas. Many turned to vocational education and training to acquire the necessary skills and find alternative employment options. The project focused exactly on this need that was created. The project was designed to address the vocational education needs of adults by offering education, training and mobility opportunities, thereby enhancing their skills and work experience and bridging the gap between study and labour market. For a holistic approach to the problem, the project actively involved trainees, trainers, businesses and people from the local communities where the partners operate.
