This is the fourth project that we started in the erasmus + program, and our fourth youth exchange, which on this occasion wants to address the issues of European citizenship, the inclusion of marginalized young people and sport and health as tools for social change and the personal improvement of young people at risk of exclusion. -Needs addressed: In light of the growing levels of intolerance, discrimination and group hatred in Europe, the Fundación Futura project aims to protect young people by strengthening their resilience against these phenomena and their abilities to contribute to a peaceful and democratic society. We want to do it through sport as a fundamental tool and through different non-formal education activities. - Marginalized young people and precarious health. Marginalized young people are often in a precarious socio-economic position, which also accentuates social conditions that favor exclusion, such as belonging to an ethnic minority (the case of the Roma community) or having a background as refugees or migrants. Within these groups, migrants, refugees and the Roma community, all studies point to poor health at all levels and poor access to the health systems of most countries in Europe. Another key concept that can represent a risk for young people in the context of social marginality is the perception that certain things in life are unfair, such as when their ethnic group is mistreated or how certain moral rules are violated in their environment. Different psychological pathologies can be exacerbated through strong emotional reactions, such as anger, which increases when young people feel insecure of themselves or feel threatened in society, which is especially relevant in the context of marginalized and excluded young people, migrants , refugees, young people suffering from socio-economic obstacles, ethnic minorities etc. The notion of fairness and justice is often important to young people as they continue to build their identity and position in society and it is in this sense that sport and health are fundamental tools to build a better sense of justice, work in team, responsibility and participation in a common society. General objectives: -Improve the self-esteem of the young participants; offer them an alternative narrative about themselves, as agents of change and heroes of the neighborhood capable of overcoming obstacles and defending their interests from respect, dialogue and tolerance. -Create a participatory, respectful and common space, where sports, teamwork and the different exchange activities offer young people the possibility of expressing themselves freely and reflecting and sharing about their interests, challenges and ambitions. -Discuss and reflect with young people about discrimination and social marginalization; Learn about how to combat online hoaxes, hate speech, and conspiracy theories that encourage exclusion. -Create transnational work networks, that during and after the exchange continue to collaborate and generate new initiatives on the main topics of this application. -Build social, intercultural dialogue, give young people the opportunity to access a life transforming experience. -Adopt a human rights approach in sport concentrating on preventing marginalization and increasing social participation; Collect materials resulting from the exchange and this methodology in Spanish for online publication as a resource guide for the inclusion of young people at risk of exclusion through sports practice. -Empowerment and self-organization of young people at the local level; increase their participation in civil society. -To promote all the natural values of sport, camaraderie, honor, honesty, respect, teamwork, participatory spirit, etc. -Foster a healthy and sustainable lifestyle, create habits and dynamics that create greater self-respect, better self-appreciation and greater personal balance.
