At CANAE we believe that the participation of students in the democratic life of their educational centers contributes to building a present in which they are part of the solutions to their problems and are part of the change. We are in a time full of great challenges, and perhaps the greatest is climate change. Many of the problems that arise from climate change will increase over time, and it will be today's youth who will suffer most of the consequences. In the face of these problems, broadening democracies and the participation of young people becomes essential in order to be able to face all the challenges we face. To do this, we need committed and participatory young people. For this reason, we promote spaces for reflection for all secondary school students, as well as spaces for dialogue with institutions that work with young people. This project aims to promote that young people learn to take responsibility for their part as key agents of change, for the transformation of these problems, but also, the intention of "examining" the different public institutions and decision-makers is a way of fulfilling the task of monitoring and "evaluating" political leaders, and of demanding in some way that they pass the different "subjects", in this case in the area of youth, climate change and environmental care. The Main Objective of the project has been the promotion of environmental care to protect the future of young people, through the following Specific Objectives (SO): SO1. Promote greater environmental sustainability in Spanish secondary education centers. SO2. Create a network / movement / campaign to promote healthy environments in Educational Centers. Led by the students.
