Objectives

The aim of this project was to achieve that Jami Kurejoki and Räpinä Aianduskol collaborate by developing their environmental teaching skills together. Increasing cooperation between the partner schools and thus increasing the coverage of environmental issues from a global perspective is the main objective of the project, since environmental issues / problems know no borders and the contribution of neighboring countries to the same subject area increases the impact of the final result.

Background

The project is motivated by national and international climate and circular economy targets until 2035. It was excellent and important that the project received funding, as the expertise in taking care of the working environment of teachers and students improved globally as a result of the project's cooperation. The objectives of the project, implemented in the form of workshops and visits, resulted in concrete common goals for the development of teachers' competence in terms of climate and circular economy goals and created opportunities for virtual co-teaching based on them. Caring for the environment cuts through several different areas of training of the project partners, so by developing this theme to the highest possible quality, the environmental responsibility of different industries is increased and further developed.
