Objectives

In our work on the project "Scientific Experiment," we employed the STEM methodology, which effectively addresses many challenges by integrating science, technology, engineering, and mathematics into a cohesive non-formal educational framework. This strategy significantly engaged young people in these fields during their school years, encouraging them to pursue related careers. This was particularly crucial for all partner countries involved in this youth exchange. The project, orchestrated by our network, aimed to equip future innovators with robust knowledge in the natural and technical sciences, enriched with essential 21st-century skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving within the framework of innovative possibilities and contemporary societal needs. Our exchange focused on the pivotal roles of astronomy, sociology, and IT in our lives, using engaging and educational activities, workshops, discussions, and brainstorming games to convey these concepts. The goal of our exchange was to expand the participants' understanding of astronomy, sociology, and IT through expert-led workshops on selected topics, hands-on exercises, observations, and sharing of experiences. Another primary objective was to enhance language skills among the youth. To this end, we organized activities that encompassed social, cultural, historical, and scientific themes to facilitate conversations among participants.
