The main idea of bilateral Youth Exchange project came from the youngsters side who are the active members of involved partner organizations; Project main aim was to develop young people intercultural competencies and knowledge. AsThe overall goal of the project was to help build young people's feelings of tolerance, goodwill, receptivity and respect for otherness. The specific goal of the project was to encourage young people to speak openly about the manifestations of violence and seek assistance. In preparing the project, we identified some problems and needs of young people and through this project we would liked to find the solutions on particular issues: - expanding knowledge of human rights and relevant legislation on UNESCO, UN and EU. - informing the French participants about the good practices in the partner countries and vice versa Georgian participants discovered French experience; - increasing the self-confidence and self-esteem of the participants; -building an active civil position on gender inequality and in exacerbating public intolerance of acts of violence based on gender; - initial steps towards the creation of self-defense mechanisms; We are confident that the proposed activities implemented through the methods of non-formal education helped participants to identify relationships among young people and build sustainable non-violent communities and showing an active civil position.
