Objectives

Media literacy is an important topic that is not covered in formal youth education. On the one hand, young people want to be accepted, and this includes the use of social media, on the other hand, they are aware of the negative impact of social media on their mental health. During the covid pandemic, it became evident how fake news can negatively affect the population. Insufficient media literacy leads to insufficient critical reflection and selection of real news from fake news. This is what the young people learned in this project. 1. raise the level of critical media literacy among young people and encourage their will for civic engagement 2. Preventing fake news and encouraging young people to be more sensitive towards inclusiveness 3. To help young people in preserving their mental health
