We wanted to raise more awareness of mental health issues in young people and at the same time help them learn how to deal with stress and difficult emotions. We also wanted to highlight the necessity for more mobility projects for high-schoolers and to promote the use of non-formal learning methods in formal education. Our objectives were: 1. Improve understanding of mental health issues - The participants have learned about the most common mental health issues affecting young people, what are its causes, how to recognize the symptoms and what to do if you suspect that you or your loved one has mental health issues. Special attention has been given to breaking stereotypes and prejudices towards mental health because the topic of mental health is still a taboo in partner countries. 2. Contribute to raising young people's level of consciousness - help them become aware of their beliefs, so that they can take responsibility for their well-being and become confident in their abilities through practising mindfulness and learning how to direct their thoughts using awareness or breathing. 3. Develop coping mechanisms that enable better mental health and overall well-being - familiarise participants with sustainable coping tools (journaling, breathing exercises, visualisation, meditation, dancing, etc.) that will help them master themselves and form resilience which will enable emotional regulation when they face setbacks, rejection, loss and betrayal. 4. Acquire knowledge about implementation of non-formal education activities - the partners in this project are schools and we have worked on broadening their knowledge of non-formal learning methods, and how the implementation of informal learning methods can have actual learning outcomes. Simultaneously, the partners have been networking which will also contribute to more Erasmus+ projects in the field of youth for schools.
