Systematically support active aging, access, social inclusion, participation and personal development using a digitalized learning ecosystem, as well as through e-services Upgrade lifelong learning opportunities provided by adult education institutions, as well as improve teaching materials and resources used by institutions to meet the needs of senior citizens Maximizing the use of digital resources to reduce the harmful impact on the environment (digital handbook)
The need for such a project stems from the fact that digital technologies have become an indispensable part of everyday life. Those who are less proficient in new technologies remain socially excluded, a digital divide occurs. In the pandemic that is behind us, we have seen how the oldest remain isolated because they do not have the necessary skills to navigate the digital world. The project "e-adults" was conceived to meet the needs of people over 45 years of age for the development of digital skills. The extremely positive reaction of the participants after the lecture confirms that there is a great need for informal education for adults, because due to insecurity when handling digital technologies, an individual cannot perform an action for which he has knowledge. Such educations are very important for people who are "afraid" of new technologies. That is why a great focus through education was placed on the safe search of Internet content, on the importance of information, checking the accuracy of information and on the safe use of social networks.
