Our project aims to provide perspective for the youngsters. We focus on two major topics during our youth exchange: learn about different cultures and fight against racism, and discrimination. Maybe it sounds strange at the begining why do we want to combine these topics, but we specifically chose Beithagefen as a partner for this project, becasue they have big expereince in the every day life these as well observing these differences. However unfortunately we also experience racism, and discrimnation in Hungary. As this topic has occured several times amongst our youth groups, we thought it would be an amazing opportunity to share experince and knowledge about the topic. Our aim is to provide a safe space for the youngsters to be able to share and discuss these topic. We will use Compass for our human rights and racism days, as it has fantastic excercises and methodology to process such topics. We will start the project with get to know each other's cultures, customs. The aim is to high light the similarities, and differences in our lives. Reflect on if they are disturbingly different or just shades of our activities. From youth work point of view our major aim is to use such non formal educational methods which supports the skill and competence development, they could gain new perspective and doing it in a foreign language which isn't their first native language.
