Őrség is an area with a special relationship between man and nature, located on the border of three countries. The task of the Őrségi National Park is to protect the area for nature conservation purposes and to present and make this special relationship known as widely as possible. With our project, we wanted to implement an international program where young people from different countries who are interested in nature conservation can get to know the rich and diverse flora and fauna and cultural monuments of the areas left untouched by the former Iron Curtain. The focus of the program was the discovery, familiarization and presentation of the donations of the grasslands. Our goal with the project was that, upon returning home from the program, young people from different countries and cultures would consider respecting the nature around them, the importance of preserving diverse traditions, and strive for awareness in their consumer decisions as a common European interest, as this is the only way for the future generations to preserve the diversity of our present.
