The objective of this TC was to ease communication among youth workers and youngsters from different cultures, to reduce the probability of misunderstandings and conflicts during daily working processes and to build a higher level of awareness and understanding when working in an intercultural environment through acquiring graphic facilitation and recording skills. Since using visuals supports better understanding, it contributes significantly to participant engagement and sustainability of the learning outcomes. The general objective of TC was to increase the quality of the methodological tools available to youth workers and their organisations, who work with young people in multicultural contexts, with ethnic or migration background and lack of cultural, social and educational resources, through the knowledge and practice of bases of sketch-noting and visual facilitation. This training also aimed at those who wish to use the potential of visual real-time documentation in training courses, process monitoring, or coaching in youth work. The very idea of the project grew out of the need to provide a highly practical, hands-on training course aimed at improving the quality of communication and educational activities of youth NGOs.
