All three organizations have experience in organizing smaller and larger programs at the local and regional level. For several years, all three organizations have been working with volunteers and with the involvement of volunteers in order to implement their activities. At the organizational level, the people participating in the project have also developed both individually and at the community level. The objectives of the Integratio Foundation are related to nurturing the talents of young people and building the local Hungarian community. It organizes its activities along European values such as commitment to a knowledge-based society, active citizenship, community values, and cultural openness. We wanted to ensure that the local community and youth have competencies that contribute to the community's success. The project offered relationship-building, experiential, and useful activities for the community. The Népkör Hungarian Cultural Center in Subotica needed an exchange of experience and the application of the results of foreign organizations in order to expand its quality. The Center able to incorporate the knowledge acquired during the project into the organization's daily work.
The project was motivated by previous projects and the same challenges/problems that arise in the partner organizations. The common challenge/problem provided a good basis for the cooperation. Our long-term goal is to establish a large-scale strategic partnership, so we first wanted to test ourselves and, of course, the partnership in the framework of a small-scale strategic partnership. The project dealt with a central topic that affects many youth organizations and associations, not only in the partner countries, but also throughout Europe. International community experience is important to young people, which motivates them to engage in local activities as well. The participating organizations wanted to strengthen the social role and commitment of young people, with the achievement of which new cooperation and programs can be realized. In addition, through the project results and programs organized within the framework of the project, the young participants gained organizational competence, self-knowledge, connections and an international community experience.
