We wanted to develop new tools for teaching and learning to enhance the student experience. We also wanted to create awareness of Fast Fashion , Sustainability and Human Rights. We wanted students to think about how they purchased clothes and to shop in a more sustainable way in the future. Thus visiting second hand shops and Vintage shops. We reused old T shirts and converted them into tote bags. We tracked the origin of clothes. we did research among our own students and teachers -one to one questionnaires on their buying habits. We took part in lots of cultural activities.
The title of our projects was developing new technologies and innovative teaching methods among our staff while increasing awareness on sustainability especially in the area of the fashion industry (Fast Fashion)among our pupils. Our organisation's long term strategy plan is to improve technology in Teaching and learning . we are also part of Green Schools and want to create awareness of Sustainability. WE as an organisation are committed to improving technology and its uses I our school.
