Cavan and Monaghan Education and Training Board are responsible for the provision of education and training in the region. It provides Post Primary education in eleven schools. CMETB promotes Erasmus Mobility opportunities to support teaching and learning needs identified and future-proof the continuity of teaching and learning in an ever-changing environment. Technology is ever-evolving and it is CMETB's key objective to continuously advance the Learning & Teaching strategy by increasing the effectiveness of technology in the classroom. This project "Enhancing Teacher's Digital Skills in the Classroom" aimed to empower teachers with opportunities to experience new practices, evaluate, and share digital skills and implement such technology in their teaching practices thus improving the overall quality of education to equip students with the digital literacy required in today's digital age. This project has supported teachers' professional development journey to understand how to effectively integrate digital tools and technologies. Teachers are now part of the conversation to pinpoint current digital resources to support their digital development and classroom practices.
