Objectives

All partner organizations in intense mutual cooperation have organized a plan for the implementation of the tasks and the achievement of the objectives. The aim of this international mobility was that all youth workers (leaders and young volunteers) were actively introduced to migration as a global problem of society, but also to how sport can contribute to the promotion of peace, tolerance and diversity. By conducting an initial survey and evaluating the results, the results indicated that the participants had the desire and motivation to participate in a project to improve their personal performance and become familiar with the problems associated with migration. Thanks to these positive results and conclusions, all participants were also actively involved in the initial activities of this youth exchange. This had been an impetus to organize an international mobility consisting of 36 participants from 6 different program countries who knew the problems of migrants and actively participated in sporting events that promote peace, tolerance and coexistence. Participants with their motivation and active participation contributed to the active involvement of people with disabilities in social life (migrants) and presented activities for intercultural cooperation between organizations, institutions and people of different nationalities. The participants through this activity had the great responsibility to actively participate in the youth exchange during the activities but also to organize some scheduled events that were part of the program and included: intercultural exchange of opinions and ideas, educational games for the exchange of knowledge, participation sports events promoting equality, video presentations, intercultural dinners, team spirit growth games, promoting European cultures and EU values, promoting tolerance and respect, improving communication and cooperation skills and activities similar. Through these activities, the participants were able to improve their communication skills and the active use of English during the international mobility. They were an important factor in the correct and professional implementation of the program, as defined by all partner organizations. This international mobility allowed the participants to create new friendships, new contacts and new collaborations. The participants in the international mobility were ambassadors of peace and tolerance and were active promoters of the project. Participants worked together and debated together on issues related to migration as a problem and racism and discrimination in sport as a model for attacking migrants. They needed to actively participate in collaboration on these issues: 1) Poor adaptation of migrants to social life and to the problems they face in the new life in between. What are the problems that migrants had to face in the process of socialization and participation in the active society? 2) How NGOs can be actively involved in working with people with fewer opportunities and can help with the assistance and organization of training courses for an easier adaptation of migrants in society 3) How can these youth workers, by improving their knowledge of this youth exchange, be able to be actively involved in the work of NGOs and start assisting and organizing the activities of migrants? 4) What are the problematic actions of actively attacking and discriminating against migrants? Migrants and people of different nationalities are usually actively targeted and attacked even in sport. 5) How can young volunteers promote tolerance, equality and coexistence through sporting activities? Active participation of young people participating in sports activities to promote migrants as part of society and active social life. How sport can be an ambassador of peace and tolerance. Through these activities the participants had the opportunity to improve their personal performance and gain new experiences. The youth exchange offered the opportunity to improve: communication, organizational and presentation skills of the participants and had been a great opportunity for the participants to gain new experiences and challenges.
