The project aimed to enhance the competencies of youth workers in leadership, communication, and team-building, fostering a more effective and impactful youth work practice. The objectives centered on providing comprehensive professional development through experiential learning, sharing best practices across different youth work contexts, and promoting the values of cooperation, equity, and equality among youth leaders. By implementing this project, we sought to elevate the quality of youth work, contribute to the personal and professional growth of youth workers, and, ultimately, enrich the experiences and opportunities available to young people in various youth programs. Our project focused on developing the core leadership competencies of youth leaders within our organizations. Through training sessions, we aimed to equip them with crucial skills, knowledge, and experience to become effective leaders in youth exchanges, summer camps, and volunteering events. Key topics included team leadership, coaching, conflict management, and effective communication. Participants were guided to understand leadership concepts, team dynamics, conflict resolution, communication strategies, and the utilization of coaching in leadership roles. Furthermore, within the Erasmus+ framework, we aimed to familiarize participants with the program's key actions and the European Solidarity Corps. Throughout the training, emphasis was placed on practical application, with participants learning to lead groups and manage conflicts using non-violent communication and coaching techniques. We aimed to instill attitudes of 21st-century youth leadership, emphasizing values such as equity, equality, cooperation, and solidarity. Recognizing the influential role of youth leaders, we aimed to positively impact their attitudes to serve as effective role models for younger generations.
