Objectives

The tasks of our project were: 1. Improved andragogical competencies will enable the methodologists of the center to provide higher quality educational services to learners. 2. Enhanced psychosocial risk management skills will create emotionally supportive environments and encourage collaboration and motivation between educators and learners.

Background

The Centre provide methodological assistance to a very wide and diverse audience: teachers of non-formal adult education; representatives of culture, art, sports, NGO representatives; individual educators; for adult learners of all ages, needs and opportunities. The Centre's expanding activities, and in particular the constraints of the Covid-19 pandemic, highlighted a number of areas for improvement in the skills of educators (including education center methodologists): psychosocial risk management and andragogical skills. The practice of similar centers operating in Lithuania is also very similar. The services offered by business organizations are too expensive for us. Erasmus + mobility projects provide the opportunity to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills through training and work monitoring visits, to learn from colleagues with more advanced, longer-lasting adult education systems, to use their experience, and establish long-term contacts.
