Background

Today the number of natural areas have decreased due to increasing industrialization and urbanization. The teachers have look at the nature as the main teacher but in some countries because of the knowledge of how to use and accept nature as a teacher, the educators have not been able to implement forest pedagogic in their work. The project has helped the teachers/participants to get new knowledge and better understanding of outdoor pedagogic philosophy, in terms of teaching Maths and Science by using natural materials in this field to increase the numbers of activities to be carried out in nature. The participants have developed awareness and responsibility towards nature as well as developed own skills of exploring, observing, researching and developing scientific methods. To addition to this, the teachers have got new understanding of learning outside places as well as improved foreign language skills and ICT skills, enriched knowledge of different countries and regions so far. The institutions has got best international practice in terms of organizing international meetings, increased the cooperation and communication inside the organization.
