The main objective of the project was to improve the quality of approaches and education for children with disabilities or SEN and it pursued the following two specific objectives: 1. To develop training courses for social educators, teachers and professionals working in the social educational sector with children and adolescents with disabilities or SEN; 2. To encourage the exchange of good practices and knowledge for a greater involvement of professionals and all those who are part of the educational sphere.
According to the latest data provided by the European Agency for Special Educational Needs and Inclusive Education, more and more children and young people in Europe are being certified as having special educational needs or disabilities. More educators, teachers and pedagogical professionals need to intervene in order to provide an increasingly quality education that meets the real needs of children/young people even outside the school context through initiatives that focus on the personal and social development of young people, taking into account their respective realities and promoting inclusion. The project "Listen, Analyse, Act" was intended to improve the skills and competences of teachers and all those who have responsibility in the child's growth and education through the exchange of new methodologies and good practices implemented by the partner organisations.
